Camila Cabello Finally Reacts To Fifth Harmony's Diss at MTV VMAs 2017

Camila Cabello Finally Reacts To Fifth Harmony's Diss at MTV VMAs 2017

Last summer during the 2017 MTV VMAs, Fifth Harmony staged a symbolic opening to their performance that looked more like major shade to former member Camila Cabello.

During the opening, five silhouettes were seen at the top of a platform and then one, seemingly representing Camila, flew back and disappeared.

Fans had a lot of things to say before the band defended the opening, which was symbolic in saying that they were now only four.

Now, Camila is finally responding to the incident.

Speaking with New York Times about it, she confessed that “it definitely hurt my feelings, I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t prepared for it — especially because at that point I’d moved on from it. I was just like, ‘What? Why?’”

Camila adds, “I have to make space for the good stuff to happen in my life. I don’t like holding onto the past, especially when it’s stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty.”

Camila Cabello Won't Say Anything Bad About Fifth Harmony Because of Her Fans

Camila Cabello and Fifth Harmony was undeniably one of the biggest stories of 2017.

While the “Havana” singer and her former musical group were on the outs in the earlier part of the year, Camila seems to have moved on from the drama — and you won’t hear her saying anything bad about them either.

“A lot of my fans were, or are, fans of the group,” she shares with Rolling Stone magazine, just days ahead of her debut album release.

Camila adds, “I don’t like to ruin the dream. They believed in something that’s beautiful. I’m sure with One Direction, too, nobody really saw behind the scenes. You just see the dream.”

Camila is out on January 12th.

Lauren Jauregui Reveals What She's Getting Her Fifth Harmony Bandmates for Christmas

Lauren Jauregui has opened up about just what she’s gifting her Fifth Harmony bandmates for the holidays this year.

The singer dished to Page Six about the gifts, and her personal holiday plans.

“I’m going to Miami to be with my family and just chill,” she shared. “I’m Cuban so we have Nochebuena, which is Christmas Eve, essentially.”

When asked about the gifts for Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Dinah Jane, here’s what Lauren would be giving them:

“They’re all so different,” she said. “Ally, I would maybe get a puppy. Because I feel like she is so like, loving … No! A kitten … That’s what she needs.”

Lauren continues, “Normani, I would get some really nice jewelry. Like, a nice bracelet or some nice earrings; [and] Dinah, I actually got her a Christmas present already. I got her a crystal, a rose quartz crystal.”

Fifth Harmony Have Nothing But Love For Each Of Their Solo Projects

Fifth Harmony Have Nothing But Love For Each Of Their Solo Projects

Fifth Harmony are having such an amazing year — and they know it!

On top of dropping their most amazing album to date, the ladies — Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Normani Kordei — are also exploring solo project, something they all are supportive of in the group.

Lauren spoke to ET about the dynamic they have now, and it’s nothing but love.

“We’re at such an amazing place harmoniously with each other with communication and support for one another. We’ve grown so much over the past year even, and I love genuinely being able to explore myself and know that my girls are there for me,” Lauren shared.

She added about having all the solo projects to the Fifth Harmony name: “It’s really cool, because we’re branching out to creatively discover ourselves, because we never really got an opportunity to do that since we started this when we were…I was like 16 when I started.”

“It’s cool to be able to give each other that space to really explore ourselves individually and grow.”

We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for them in 2018!
