Camila Cabello Debuts Two Skechers Commercials -- in English & Spanish!

Camila Cabello has just debuted two new commercials in support of her new Skechers campaign.

The “Crying in the Club” singer did one in English, and the other in Spanish!

“It’s so important for me to pay homage to my Cuban/Mexican roots,” Camila says. “My culture is such a huge part of who I am.”

She adds that it’s something that has influenced her upcoming album too: “While working on my solo album, I have been listening to Spanish and English musicians – pulling inspiration from influencers I grew up with.”

“I grew up speaking Spanish around my house and listened to primarily Spanish music before discovering Michael Jackson and all of the artists I listen to today.”

Fifth Harmony Feels They Are 'More Respected This Time Around'

Fifth Harmony Feels They Are 'More Respected This Time Around'

Right before Fifth Harmony lost Camila Cabello in December, the group was already at a breaking point – they were exhausted and felt controlled by the label like “puppets.”

In a new interview with the LA Times, the 5H women – Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Normani Kordei – opened up how much things have changed since they became a foursome.

“It came to a point where I’d catch myself onstage and realize, ‘I’m not feeling this,’” Normani said. “It scared me, because this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.”

“You’re in front of so many people that you know love you,” Lauren added. “To be in a space where you don’t connect or when you feel bored in that kinda setting …”

“You feel guilty,” Normani offered.

“It’s overwhelming to have your whole, entire life planned for something you don’t feel passionate about,” Lauren said. “You’re not seeing your family, your friends. You’re not doing anything for yourself. It was depressing, draining and sad. Now, it’s a whole different thing.”

Camila Cabello Loves That She Doesn't Have to 'Worry About Matching a Group Look' Anymore

Camila Cabello Loves That She Doesn't Have to 'Worry About Matching a Group Look' Anymore

Camila Cabello sent Fifth Harmony fans reeling when she left the group in 2016, but it is becoming clearer and clearer that she feels more comfortable as a solo artist than as a member of a group.

In a new interview, the 20-year-old “Crying in the Club” singer spoke out about her ability to express herself with clothing after leaving 5H.

“As a solo artist, I don’t have to worry about matching a group look, which can be quite challenging because you have to fit with everyone else,” she explained to People.

She also talked about how her style has changed since then.

“I think my style has evolved because I’ve evolved as a person,” she continued. “I’m always growing and recreating myself, and because style is an expression of how you feel, my style has changed like I have. I’m more comfortable in my own skin now and I don’t feel like I have to do as much to feel good. I could wear jeans and a T-shirt with no makeup and feel just as good as when I’ve been in hair and makeup for two hours and wearing a fancy dress.”

Celebs Speak Out Against White Nationalist March in Virginia

Young celebs are making their voices heard after a series of violent marches erupted today in Charlottesville, Virginia, as white nationalists clash with counter-protestors.

Additionally, at least one person has died after a car plowed down a group of pedestrians participating in a counter-protest at a white supremacist rally.

Camila Cabello, Zendaya, Sarah Hyland, and tons of other stars have all taken to social media to condemn the violence, racism, and President Donald Trump for how he is handling the situation.

“This is horrifying…. hatred, racism and violence have no place in our society… this is not America #Charlottesville,” Camila wrote.

Camila Cabello Says That Recording Solo Music is 'A Lot More Challenging'

Camila Cabello Says That Recording Solo Music is 'A Lot More Challenging'

Camila Cabello has been, by nearly all accounts, slaying her solo career thus far.

The 20-year-old singer and former Fifth Harmony member released two new songs this month, snagged a campaign with Skechers, and is performing well on the charts — but she admits that leaving the group definitely made the recording process more difficult.

“It’s totally different,” Camila told Wonderland Magazine of the solo process, “In the group we would record songs for two weeks, it was a really fast process, like sometimes we’d do five songs in a day.”

“It would just be like ‘alright you sing the verse, you sing that’, and then you just record it and that’s it,” she continued, “But this has been… Probably because I’ve had a chance to really like, write and make the songs, and be involved in every aspect of it from the production to the mixing. Definitely a lot more challenging but more fun, for sure.”

It seems like leaving the group has been the best for both Camila and the other girls. We wish them all the best!

Camila Cabello Would Quit Social Media If It Weren't For Her Fans

Camila Cabello Would Quit Social Media If It Weren't For Her Fans

Camila Cabello is completely in love with her fans.

The “Crying in the Club” singer got all emotional after dropping two more singles — “Havana” and “OMG”.

“guys…. i love u so much u don’t even understand,” Camila wrote on twitter. “Thank u for supporting me and cheering me on and loving me the way u do. I love u.”

In fact, the only reason Camila is on social media at all is because of her fans.

“I have a really intimate, personal relationship with my fans,” she told TeenVogue. “They’re really the only reason I like social media. If not for them, I would probably quit and never use it.”

Camila adds, “I try to keep in touch with them as much as possible because they support me so much. I’ve been a fan of artists too, and so I know how much it means to people when you get noticed or when somebody is like ‘I love you too — thanks so much for supporting me.’ I think it’s all about showing gratitude and appreciation because I know they do so much for me.”

Yep, she’s the best.
